Pick 3 Stratgey
By: Richard Bleuze
If a good horse betting strategy is used, the pick 3 can be very profitable. The main key to pick 3 success is to be able to single a horse in one leg and have a chance for a nice pay out.
The pick 3 strategy that I am going to reveal is designed to
1. Not cost a lot to bet and
2. Has a good chance to pay very well
Below are the steps for this winning pick 3 strategy.
First, you must have one horse to play as a single in one of the legs. This horse should be "special" in some way. In addition, the morning line odds on this horse should be equal to or greater than 3-1. You want at least a 3-1 horse since you are trying to find a pick 3 bet that is not going to be played by most of the horse bettors. This is really not a very hard find at most tracks.
Secondly, the horses in the other 2 legs should be at least in the top 4 picks. You might also include any other horses that have at least odds of 6-1 or less.
Remember, in applying the above rules, you should keep in mind the bankroll rules with this wager as in all wagers. I suggest that if you are going to play pick 3's you should set aside a separate bankroll just for pick 3's. In addition, you should keep your bets as always 2% of your total bankroll.
If you do not have a high enough bankroll for this bet, then I suggest you do not place this wager or play a light version of it. The light version of this pick 3 strategy would be your key single with 3 horses in the other 2 legs each. Just remember to pick any 3 that you want as long as they are within the true odds range.
Finally, if you like a horse within one of the 3 races of the pick 3 that you play, and the horse is at nice odds, then always back up your pick 3 bet with a win bet on that horse.
