The Daily Newspaper System

The Daily Newspaper System
If using this system, please remember that it never selects more than one horse a day. No form study or record keeping is involved, but despite its ease of use this remarkable system, you can get winning odds of up to 5/1.
The steps to using this system are:
1. Use the Daily Race Form if at all possible.
2. Only use the principal or main meeting according to the Daily Race Form. If this meeting is an All Weather meeting, use the earliest turf meeting. If no such alternative meeting is scheduled, there is no bet on the day.
3. NEVER use this system on all weather racing.
4. NEVER bet races which are restricted to lady or amateur jockeys since they are not usually the best betting propositions.
5. NEVER place a bet if there are more than 15 runners.
6. NEVER bet a claiming race.
7. NEVER place a bet on races for 2 or 3 year olds.
8. NEVER bet on races which are to be run over distances of less than 7 furlongs.
9. When you have found the meeting to concentrate on, find two successful horse handicappers (track them for at least two weeks). If they agree on a selection for any race at the meeting, make a note of the horse in question.
If, after looking at all possible races at the chosen meeting, the horse handicappers do not agree on any selection, then there is no bet that day.
If you have gotten this far, you should have at least one horse where both your horse handicappers have selected it for that particular race. In many cases you will have more than one race in which the chosen horse handicappers have selected the same horse.
10. Delete any horse which is quoted at odds of 5/1 or more.
11. If you have only one selection left, then this is the bet of the day. It can either be backed to win or place. I suggest betting place.
12. If there is more than one selection remaining, select the one with the highest quoted odds that is less than 5/1.
13. If there is still more than one selection, select the one in the race which has fewest runners.
14. If there is still more than one selection, do not bet that day.
This system is based on the expertise of using two horse handicappers consistently. I strongly recommend that you use the Daily Race Form with this system. Good luck and good betting!
