HORSE BETTING BASICS


1.The post-time favorite, the horse that has the most money bet on it to win, will win the race 33% of the time!

2.The post-time favorite will finish in the top three 67% of the time.

3.On average, the horse that wins the race will go off at somewhere near 5-1 odds.

4.100% of the time, ONE jockey will win more races than any other jockey at a given track during any given meet!

5.One trainer will ALWAYS win more races than any other trainer at a given track during a given meet.

6.Some horses run better on dirt than grass, and vice versa. You CAN get this honest and true information know this information BEFORE you bet!

7.Some trainers have horses that do better on dirt than on grass, and vice versa. Know this information BEFORE you bet!
