What To Look For When Analyzing the Daily Racing Form
1. Did the horse win within the last four weeks?
2. Can you can expect further improvement in the horse?
3. Is the horse rising or dropping in weight? If the horse has a weight increase can it handle the increased weight? If the weight of the horse is dropping will the horse rise in class or drop?
4. Did the horse have to overcome any difficulties to win?
5. Does the horse have the same jockey? If not, why not?
6. Does the horse have a good strike rate?
7. Did the horse run a good time last few outings?
8. What are the main differences in this race compared to race the horse won?
There is an old saying in the horse racing world that you should remember - WINNERS KEEP ON WINNING AND LOSERS KEEP ON LOSING! Horses that won at their previous starts provide a rich source of winners.
